CAMPAIGN DESIGN
Day of the Badger is a day for all alumni, students, and friends throughout Badger nation to give to their show their pride and stay connected to the university. The goal is to unite Badgers to advance the university’s mission by bringing awareness to its achievements and raising critical funds to help the UW remain a world-class educational institution.
I was provided with a design tool kit which consisted of the university's color palette, fonts, logos, and brand style guide. Using these resources, I created a diverse range of promotional materials such as social media graphics, advertisements, signage, and stickers, ensuring that all elements adhered closely to the university's established brand identity.
The College of Letters & Science offers a total of 70 undergraduate majors, 47 certificates, 62 Master's degrees, and 52 Doctoral and Professional degrees. This department covers a wide range of majors including humanities, natural and physical sciences, biological sciences, social sciences, computing, data, and information sciences.
While designing materials for the College of Letters & Science, I focused on simplicity to allow flexibility across its many departments and majors.
Every department within the university is actively involved in this campaign, encompassing both undergraduate and graduate programs. It was crucial for all components to exhibit a sense of unity while also accommodating the distinct characteristics of each department.
When working on materials for the School of Pharmacy, I was asked to bring in pharmaceutical elements. So, I created a social graphic resembling a prescription pad and integrated symbols such as the Rx symbol and an icon of a mortar and pestle into the stickers.
